Senior Tax Assistance Rebate - STAR, was created by a one-time appropriation ADSD received during the 2015 Legislative Session. As a non-recurrent appropriation, it was set up as a temporary program that offered a rebate on property taxes to qualifying seniors who own their home. The STAR application deadline was October 31, 2016. The application process, eligibility determination, payment distribution and communication with eligible and non-eligible applicants have all been executed to completion. The STAR program has concluded.
