State Plan for Aging Services

NV State Plan for Aging Services - 2021

The Nevada State Plan for Aging Services defines the priorities and actions of the Division to provide services to older adults and family caregivers required under the Older Americans Act as amended in 2020. The plan is a requirement of the Act and is approved by the Administration for Community Living.

In developing this new plan, the Division solicited feedback from community partners, older adults, and family caregivers through a series of townhalls and focus groups.

Taking into consideration the feedback we received, as well as Governor priorities and national trends, this plan is built on the following strategic focus areas:

Impact of the COVID-19 pandemic

Health in Aging

Protection and Advocacy

Infrastructure

This plan is effective October 1, 2021, to September 30, 2024.
