supports, community resources and contracted
services.
JDT
Jobs and Day Training Services
(JDT) - A program that provides prevocational and vocational skills
training, supported employment, and/or day habilitation
services.
POS
Purchase of Services (POS)
assistance - Purchase of defined services or goods to support continuity
of living in the community.
SLA
Supported Living Arrangement (SLA) -
Services provided to people living in their own homes or with roommates
by staff of contracted provider agencies or individuals to develop and
maintain skills needed to live independently in the
community.
SSA
Social Security Administration (SSA) - Federal agency that
provides benefit amounts to eligible individuals including Supplemental
Security Income (SSI), Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI), and Retired
Survivors Disability Insurance (RSDI).
